Revision Policy
EssayWriting.education Revision Policy
It is a part of our business model that all of our clients will be absolutely thrilled with the writing products they receive from our writers. And because we have a policy of open communication between writers and clients, this is almost always the case. Sometimes, however, a client will want some revision made to a work that has been delivered. We therefore have this policy in place so that everyone understands how revisions are completed.
How to Request Revisions
- When you receive the final draft of your order, t is delivered to your account page. You can open it there and review it. If all is satisfactory, you simply click the “approval” button and it will be downloadable to your computer or device.
- If you determine that you want revisions, then you click the “revision request” button. A field will open up for you to type in exactly what you want changed. When you submit that, it goes to both your writer and to the customer service department. Your writer will start on those revisions right away.
- Your revised copy is again placed on your account page for the same procedure as before. Once you are happy, you approve and download it.
- If your revision request is complex and lengthy, we ask that you contact the customer service desk with the details. We want to be certain that we understand exactly what you want before we notify your writer.
- When you request revisions, you also have the right to ask for a different writer, and, if one is available, we are happy to honor this request.
Deadline for Revision Requests
The best practice is for you to make your revision requests at the time of delivery and your initial review. However, you may still request them after you have taken delivery, so long as you meet our deadline requirements:
- For works of 20 pages or less – deadline of 7 days after delivery
- For works of more than 20 pages – deadline of 14 days after delivery
Free Revisions
Revisions are free under the following circumstances:
- If you writer failed to follow an instruction you gave, then the revisions are free. For example, if you needed 5 resources and the writer only used 4, you simply indicate that on the request page, and it will be taken care of quickly.
- If you want the content re-arranged in some way, that will be free
- If you and the writer had a mis-understanding about some terminology and that resulted in an incorrect treatment of the topic, we will defer to the customer and complete the revision for free. For example, you may have a different definition of the word “summary” than the writer. Perhaps you wanted a summary and an analysis. We’ll do that for you.
Fee-Based Revisions
- You are certainly welcome to request revisions that change the details of your initial order. If you wish these revisions, however, there will be a fee charged because this is extra work for your writer. Suppose, for example, that you wanted a 12-page paper but now you want 14 pages. This will entail an additional payment, and we will begin on that revision as soon as that payment is made.
- If you have gone past the deadline for revision requests, we will have to treat your request as a new order. You will need to submit a new form and it will be priced according to the amount of work that must be done.
